The Miss Peace Ambassador International competition, is coordinated in Nigeria by Andy Iji with the supervision of the international President Johaness MAKOUVIA.
The competition is aimed at identifying young women in Africa who will champion the implementation of Women Peace and Security Agenda.
This engagement of young women bridges the Intergenerational gaps which hitherto is noticable in the level of young women involvement in peace building processes.
After months of rigourous process, Miss Honest Salihu emerged as the winner in Nigeria. She will represent Nigeria in the International competition coming up in March where the grand winner will be unveiled after 4 days of activities and interviews.
The overall winner will work closely with UN Women, Regional UNOWAS ,UNOCA and other International organizations in the promotion of Women Peace and Security Agenda.
